Obstacle course training
What we do.
This is a one-on-one program that is personalized to you and you alone. We will discuss your goals, any events you wish to pursue, and general fitness. This coaching also includes basic nutritional guidance, and unlimited contact with the coach.
Do you want all the programming, but not the cost of personal training? We can do that. Your program will be built every week using TrainingPeaks software, all you have to do is log in and there it is. This includes unlimited contact with the coach through TrainingPeaks.
Ready to join us? Group training is the best way to meet friends, find teammates, and get in shape. This is a coached program with a focus on general fitness including: strength,
durability. This program is designed to get you into the best shape of your life and to get you through anything that life will throw at you.
Spartan SGX training is a group class specifically designed to get you ready to complete a Spartan or other obstacle course race.
I come from an endurance sports and military background. I raced bicycles for 20 years, competing in both the US and Europe. After that career I went to the military, I spent 10 years serving our country and deploying to both Iraq and Afghanistan. I
trained and deployed next to some of the fittest men on the planet, and it's that experience, knowledge and mindset I bring to
everyday life with RFT Coaching.
Currently I compete in obstacle course races, snowboard, rock climb, trail run, hike our beautiful mountains, and of course train for it all in the gym.

I come from a team sport background. I played baseball competitively for 14 yrs, playing for both high school and traveling teams. l joined the Marine Corps right out of high school and served for 5 yrs. Later in my military career I was put in charge of getting junior Marines physically ready for deployments. It was here I fell in love with training and helping others.
These days I have worked hard on becoming a well rounded athlete. I don't focus on any one aspect of fitness. I prefer to lift heavy but still train hard for endurance and work capacity. I take this mindset into my coaching of other athletes as well.
